Welcome to our creative cottage studio!
We've officially opened our doors to the studio & it feels like a dream! Our first two sewing workshops have been a blissful mix of the love of learning, the buzz of machines & the sunlight on our faces as we potted plants for our fabric planters together in the garden!
The studio has been scooched around to host 6-10 sewists for our upcoming calendar of events. Our patterns that we teach in the studio are created by our talented patternmaker Lesley & our toiles are being lovingly handmade by me (Jacqui), a sewing teacher!
Our workshops are designed to build community and skill sharing, alongside creating new friendships and encouraging you to carve out intentional time to create in a world that is geared towards distracting us. They are a safe, welcoming and creative space for sewists to gather and create in the company of others, usually with a nice cuppa in hand too!
We currently offer both Beginner/Learn-to-sew workshops, Gift Workshops (Mother's Day) and Social Sewing events. Coming soon to our May calendar will be Embroidery & Mending workshops, while in June we welcome sewists to grow their skill set & love for sewing in our 4-week Beginner Courses!
